DANCING IN THE WATER

A key work from the Blue Series, Dancing in the Water explores the origins of life, love and our deepest emotional connections. Mysterious circular forms and hidden symbols drift across the canvas like cells, embryos or fragments of life suspended in water, perhaps an ocean, perhaps the protective intimacy of amniotic fluid.

The composition evokes motherhood and unconditional love, while opening onto a broader exploration of sensuality, transformation and self-discovery. Floating, dancing, twisting through an infinite blue, its forms seem caught between the microscopic and the cosmic, between the beginning of life and the vastness of the universe.

Dancing in the Water is an invitation to surrender to movement and emotion, "dancing in the water, twisting in the ocean, just like heaven."

LOS ENAMORADOS

Los Enamorados explores the mysterious territory where love, fear and transformation meet. A tiger and a bird face one another, two opposing forces drawn together by an impossible attraction. Between them lies a fragile tension: fascination or danger, desire or fear, encounter or departure. Echoing Love Me Cruel, Los Enamorados takes the exploration of love one step further. Here, love becomes a force of transformation, an invitation to confront our instincts, shed what no longer serves us and rise, perhaps, as something new. Like the phoenix emerging from its ashes, we are never entirely bound by what we have been. Tiger or bird, fear or love, stay or fly, perhaps the greatest freedom lies in choosing who we become.

WILD LIFE, JUNGLE LIFE. LE BISOU

MY LEGENDARY MOUTH

When Henri Rousseau meets the Rolling Stones, "My Legendary Mouth" emerges somewhere between Pop iconography and an imaginary jungle, seductive, playful and quietly dangerous. Desire becomes danger, attraction carries the possibility of surrender, possession and loss. At once an invitation and a warning, the work plays with the eternal contradictions of love, pleasure and fear, desire and vulnerability, creation and destruction. Take me to the beach

SWIMMING-POOL SELF-PORTRAIT

Inspired by a real moment experienced inside Leandro Erlich's Swimming Pool installation at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, this self-portrait blurs the boundaries between perception and reality. Wearing a CZI bikini and holding a pareo created from her painting Out of the Blue, Sandra Czich become both the artist and the subject, inhabiting a space where art, identity and lived experience converge. More than a self-portrait, Swimming-Pool is an exploration of inner freedom, femininity and self-discovery. LIGHT ME UP

An ode to the modern city after dark, between Mumbaï, Dubaï and Miami, vibrant, magnetic and alive with energy. Built through rough, knife-painted textures, sharp angles and architectural forms, the composition captures the intensity of an urban landscape illuminated by electric flashes of neon against deep, powerful blues. Geometric palm trees rise through layers of color and texture, while the city appears to shimmer and dissolve into the sea, blurring the boundaries between architecture, light and reflection. MIAMI, BABY

*Miami, Baby* is a love letter to a city that has long inhabited Sandra Czich’s artistic imagination, architecture and nature becoming the true protagonists of the scene. There are no human figures. Instead, the city speaks for itself: through its geometry, its light, its tropical vegetation and the distinctive energy born from the encounter of Art Deco elegance and vibrant Latin American influences. Miami has been a recurring source of inspiration throughout Sandra’s creative journey, from her paintings to her swimwear collections. CITY LIGHTS

Painted in 2012, *City Lights* imagines a vibrant, almost otherworldly city after dark, a futuristic landscape illuminated by electric blues, glowing lights and a sense of infinite possibility. Floating somewhere between reality and fantasy, the city seems to belong to a world of its own. The crescent moon, a motif cherished by the Artist, quietly watches over the scene, anticipating Sandra Czich’s later fascination with the night, urban landscapes and imaginary universes. Seen today, City Lights feels almost prophetic. Its intense blues already carry the seeds of the Blue Series, while its playful, dreamlike atmosphere hints at the mysterious world of the Extraterrestrials series that would follow. C'EST SI BON

SOME KIND OF LOVE

Taking its title from The Velvet Underground’s iconic song, *Some Kinda Love* inhabits the elusive space between thought and expression, where desire, words and emotions collide before anything can be fully understood. Created in acrylic and mixed media, the work layers neon colour, glitter, fragments of text and hidden symbols into a composition that is at once seductive and unsettling. Small visual clues echo the playful language of the Extraterrestrials series, while references to David Bowie, the Rolling Stones and rock mythology appear like traces of a collective memory. Sensual, ambiguous and deliberately provocative, the painting plays with the viewer, inviting us to read between the lines, decipher its signs and question what is being revealed, or concealed. Some *Kinda Love* does not attempt to define love. Instead, it embraces its contradictions: instinctive and intellectual, intimate and universal, tender and dangerous. Some kind of love, perhaps, but which kind is left for us to imagine.

EAT ME
